Energy Local Newsletter

May 2015

Our general newsletter to keep all those interested in Energy Local up to date.

Thanks for all the ‘Pitch to Rich’ votes.

We did not make it to the short list for this competition to get support from Virgin Business but we have made lots of new contacts.  Many thanks for spreading the word and all the votes.

Surveys and load monitoring

We have been circulating load monitors so that SWELL participants can get a snapshot of their electricity usage.  We have also being surveying homes to check that we can install the home energy management equipment.  At the same time we gathered information to provide some energy efficiency advice.

Energy Local Shortlisted for a Stephen Lloyd Award

Energy Local has been shortlisted for a Stephen Lloyd Award (www.stephenlloydawards.org).

We are in the top 10 from over 100 entries.  Keep your fingers crossed for us on the 9th July!
