Energy Local Newsletter

April 2015

Our general newsletter to keep all those interested in Energy Local up to date.

Please Vote for our ‘Pitch to Rich’ bid

We are in the running for funding and mentoring support from Virgin – but it all relies on achieving enough public votes. Please click below to see our pitch & just add your vote to help us get Sir Richard Branson to support Energy Local. Please pass this link on to anyone else you think might be prepared to vote too. Thanks!

Energy use and its Cost

We have written a new leaflet on ‘Energy use and its Cost’. Have a look to see if you can find some energy saving tips and pass it on to anyone you know who might find it useful.

Thanks to the RSA

The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) has kindly granted us a further £5,000 as part of their Catalyst Programme to help fund the rest of our current pilot.

The RSA’s mission is “21st century enlightenment: enriching society through ideas and action” and we are delighted they recognise our work as contributing to those goals. Their continuing advice and support is equally appreciated.

That’s all until next month. Follow us on twitter and keep an eye out for ‘Latest News‘ on the website till then.
